I hadn't realized my eyes had deteriorated so much until I put on my new glasses today. What a world of difference. Lucky, too, since I also had to renew my driver's license. Oh, and I took my wife out to dinner (chicken fried steak) a day late for Mother's day. Good simple comfort food that we both enjoy.

We did the day late Mother's Day thing too, Charlie. Cost me flowers and a dinner. I told our daughter the flowers would have to come out of her allowance.
